So you think you might have sex, do you?
Congratulations. Whether it’s a first date or a night out with your girlfriend or wife, the possibility of having sex is on the table.
And whether it’s the first time that you’ve been with her or the 1000th, every guy wants to put on a solid performance – so what should you do to really knock it out of the park?
We got you covered. The following is a quick pre-game checklist to get you ready to knock her socks off.
Your Sleep Game
This one should be pretty obvious. Getting a good night sleep before “game day (for lack of a better phrase) will help you perform better in ANY endeavour.
A poor night sleep will not only cause your performance to suffer, but a chronic lack of sleep (which many guys suffer from) can have a negative effect on your testosterone.
Lack of sleep also has a negative effect on your mood, making it harder for you to be your charming self.
Another one that should be pretty obvious, but ABSOLUTELY needs repeating for some guys.
Fellas, you need to have a shower, and you need to wash EVERYTHING (that bar of soap should be hitting every nook and cranny on your body).
Once you’re out of the shower, you’re going to want to put on some deodorant and make sure that your breath is on point (this can be a deal breaker for a lot of women). Brush, floss, and use mouthwash. You’ll also want to consider investing in a tongue scraper, since this is an area of the mouth where a lot of bacteria can live.
First things first, you’re going to want to avoid anything too pungent. This includes garlic, onions, spices and…well, anything else that can cause you to stink.
The next thing that’s critical is making sure that you’ve had a quality meal before hand. Lean meats, vegetables and a quality carb sources like sweet potatoes will keep you well fuelled.
One thing that is worth mentioning is the timing of this meal. While you do want to make sure you’ve eaten before hand, you want to give yourself enough time to digest that food. Trying to get busy on a full stomach is not only uncomfortable, it will kill your performance.
Three hours is generally enough time for proper digestion.
Working out in the hours leading up to sex is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It will optimize your blood flow, cause a surge of hormones to flow through your body, and give you a wicked pump.
Seriously, if you’re not already doing this, you need to get on it. It will make you perform better and feel like an absolute beast.
While cardio is important, you absolutely want to make sure you do some hard weight training that day as well. Use big, compound movements to really help get those hormones flowing and that energy going.
